The four-star hotel, Best Western Premier Katowice, was opened last Sunday on 1st of August at 1A Bytkowska St. The hotel is the first unit of Best Western in the Upper Silesia region and the fifth in Poland. The refurbished 13-storey building, formerly occupied by the Silesian University’s hotel, is located on the border of Katowice, Chorzów and Siemianowice Śląskie.
It offers 168 air-conditioned rooms equipped with water sprinklers and sound – warning fire fighting systems. There are also individually controlled air-conditioning system, telephone, LCD TV set and fast, fixed Internet link in each room.

The hotel offers a restaurant, lobby bar, fitness center and modern conference center for 200 people located on the first floor. Best Western Katowice also provides WiFi Internet, Internet points, and library free of charge. There is a car park and bus parking place for guests.
The building and its interiors were designed by the PRC Design architectural studio.
The hotel offers promotional prices for the opening which start at PLN 227 for single and PLN 259 for double rooms. The promotion is time-limited.
