The Second European Economic Congress (EEC 2010) will take place in Katowice in two months between 14th and 16th of April, 2010. EEC is one of the most important business events in Central Europe. During the three days of sessions, the city of Katowice is going to add new quality to European dialogue, becoming a place for exchanging views and experiences as well as of debate for nearly 400 speakers, great personages of politics, business, science and economics.
Except summing up 2009, a close of the year is time to schedule and to present the most important events in the coming year 2010. Many of them will take place in Katowice but all are key for the whole Agglomeration. The biggest and the most prestigious will undoubtedly be the second European Economic Congress in mid-April. The last year’s first edition was attended by many prominent figures from the European world of politics, business and science as Mikuláš Dzurinda – Slovak Prime Minister in 1998-2006, Andris Piebalgs – EU Commissioner for Energy at the European Commission, Janez Potočnik – European Commissioner for Science and Research and representatives of the Polish Government.
