In the middle of February, Katowice City Hall called for a bid for execution of construction work on the International Convention Center (ICC). Today, the competitive tender was decided. The highest mark went to a consortium of Grupa 3J S.A. (leader) based in Warsaw and Unistav a.s. (partner) from Brno, the Czech Republic.
The consortium was chosen from amongst twelve bidders tendered for the contract. Now, according to tender procedures, the other eleven companies have 10 days to protest the decision made by the jury. Potential protests will be examined by the National Appeal Chamber (NAC) in Warsaw.
Grupa 3J S.A. operates since 1997 and specializes in design, construction and installation services for hospitals and clinics. Unistav s.a. was established in 1990 and belongs to the top 15 construction companies in the Czech Republic.
A total estimated value of the undertaking amounts PLN 303 million.
