After 8 months of a construction work on the new Silesia City Center (SCC), the Erbud prime contractor is concluding the fourth stage of works. Raw state of the oval central part of the building is almost finished. The frame construction is 6,5 meters high at present. It will be almost doubled to 12,5 meters when an openwork elevation is laid on.
Currently, six tower cranes operate at the construction site. About 70 percent of works on a reinforced concrete construction of the “0” level and 80 percent on the underground part are already done. One of entrance ramps to the underground car park is also concluded. The builder’s crew has started a masonry and fitting work in some parts the building’s interiors.
The new Silesia City Center will be opened in October 2011 delivering 20 000 sq. meters of retail space.
