Cushman & Wakefield, a global real estate consultancy firm, has been appointed manager of three office buildings owned by an affiliate of Starwood Capital Group, including Katowice Business Point (KBP).
Apart from Katowice Business Point, Cushman & Wakefiled is now reponsible for the management of two other Starwood’s properties: T-Mobile Office Park and Łopuszańska Business Park, both located in Warsaw. Cushman & Wakefield has been managing Katowice Business Point since 2010 on behalf of the former owner and developer of the building, Ghelamco. The new owner, Starwood Capital Group, has decided to continue the cooperation with the manager. „This appointment to manage the office portfolio of Starwood Capital Group is a confirmation of the firm’s trust in our team’s expertise” – commented Aneta Rogowicz-Gała, partner and head of property & asset management at Cushman & Wakefield.
Starwood acquired Katowice Business Point in Agust 2014. The buildng offers 16 800 sq. meters of modern office space, 200 underground parking spaces and additional parking spaces outside. It is located at 3 Ściegiennego St., close to Silesia City Center. The building was delivered onto the market in April 2010 and its anchor tenants include Alior Bank, Tauron, PwC and Żywiec Group. Katowice Business Point has been awarded a „Very Good” rating in the BREEAM certification system.
