Ferrum, a manufacturer of welded steel pipes and structural hollow section, appointed DTZ to sell 8,5 hectares of land located in Katowice. A zoning approval for the area would enable developers to build a complex of office buildings.
The subjected properties are located along Murckowska St. – one of the City’s main arterial routes – between Porcelanowa and Hutnicza streets. „We have been trying to sell the land in the past, now we are preparing a package proposal. We want to sell the plots adding a zoning approval, the project is being prepared by DTZ Polska” – Konrad Miterski, president of the board of Ferrum, said to the „Parkiet” newspaper.
The zoning approval will allow to erect five office buildings on the property, according to „Parkiet”. Ferrum put the land up for sale to reduce debts of the company. The pipes manufacturer wants to trade the plots for PLN 51 million.
Ferrum was established in 1874. The company is headquartered at 11 Porcelanowa St. in Katowice.
