Only a few weeks left to a grand opening of the new part of Silesia City Center (SCC), which will take place in the middle of October. The extension, being conducted by Erbud S.A. – the prime contractor of the investment, is to be concluded by the end of September. At the same time, a full list of 60 new tenants shall be known.
“For today, we finished negotiations with 51 companies, the last nine brands are to be confirmed this month” – said Tomasz Pietrzak, press spokesman at Silesia City Center. Among brands which will be present in SCC from mid-October are, for example, Massimo Dutti, La Mania, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein Jeans, Prima Moda, Liu Jo, New Look, Pinko and Weekend by Max Mara.
According to Małgorzata Ryfa, Leasing Director at SCC, the extension of retail space for about 20 thousand square meters helped to attract brands which demand spacious stores. “Our success was to draw interest from upscale brands. About 200 of them will be offered by Van Graaf. The store is going to be located on two levels both covering 2416,2 sq. meters and will be one of the biggest in the whole Center” – Ryfa said.
Meanwhile, the last outfitting is conducting by Erbud on the elevation, underground, ground and roof car parks, as well as in the interior. One of the new entrances located in the so called “cylinders” is already delivered for visitors use.
A cost of the extension amounts EUR 50 million and is financed by the owner of the Center – Immofinanz Group.
