Erbud S.A., a prime contractor of the new Silesia City Center’s (SCC) extension, started the last stage of a construction work. Brickwork, works on ventilation, sewage and electrical fittings, installation of glass and skylights elements are at full steam.
A 235-meters long steel frame of the semicircular elevation is being assembled since mid-May. After the finishing, aluminium elements of the construction will be fit up. One of two “cylinders” located on both sides of the extended part is currently being insulated. These two 13,5-meters high structures will house two-floored shops including H&M – one of the biggest tenants of new SCC. The “cylinders” will be covered by ceramics elements, two entrances to the Center will be located near by.
Lately, thirteen new brands has been confirmed. Some of retail units were already delivered by the prime contractor and tenants prepare interiors for the autumn opening.
