Significant milestone was marked at the construction site of Silesia Business Park this month. The first building of the office complex was topped out and the project is on track to be delivered by November this year, when the first tenant is going to move in.
While the last beam was placed on the structure in the middle of April, works on the elevation and inside the building are still underway. The 15-storey construction – including two floors of a car park and one technical floor on top – already reached its highest point of 59,26 meters. Builders now cover the 7 700 sq. meters facade with panels of white, black and so-called Spectra Red Brass lacquered aluminium.
Some works are also being executed on the “0” level where the office park’s second building is planned. “The construction work on the „0” level are associated with the development of underground car park which will be a common footing of the first two buildings of Silesia Business Park. It does not mean that works on the ground storeys of the second office facility were started” – commented Mariusz Wieczorek, project manager of Silesia Business Park, Skanska Property Poland.
Silesia Business Park will offer a total of 46 000 sq. meters of office space in 4 buildings. There will be 600 parking spaces available to future tenants in the underground car park and outside. Skanska Property Poland is the developer of the office complex.
