First of the four planned GPP Business Park’s buildings is currently being covered by sheets of windows glass little by little. Representatives of the Upper Silesian Industrial Park (GPP), an investor of the office scheme, confirm the building will be delivered in the second quarter of 2012.
“The Spec Bau company, a prime contractor of the undertaking, is conducting the construction work according to a schedule and we will do our best to comply with the term. The mild winter has helped the workers thus far” – said Justyna Bartecka, Marketing and Development Manager at GPP. Apart from windows and its frames, the building was already equipped with first elements of internal systems.
The ground floor of the 7 500 sq. meters facility is destined for conference area and services, e.g. restaurant. The above six storeys are designed as office spaces for rent. A technical floor on the roof will feature a machinery of the Tri-Generation system. “This is a modern system which generates electricity, heating and cooling from gas, and enables to cut costs of the office space use. It will be the first building in Poland in which Tri-Generation is implemented. We also apply for a BREEAM certificate. Additionally, solutions of high-class office spaces will be suited to meet growing expectations of tenants” – Bartecka explained.
GPP Business Park is located in the area of the Upper Silesian Industrial Park on Konduktorska St. The office building as well as the whole planned office park will operate within the Katowice Special Economic Zone.
