The building is a modern A-class office facility covering the total area of 7 800 sq. meters and equipped with all the technical solutions and amenities that are a standard for this class of buildings. The offered gross office space amounts to 6 600 sq. meters. Its architecture is similar to the first office facility of GPP Business Park – Goeppert-Mayer (the building was BREEAM certified, receiving an “Outstanding” rating as the second office facility in Europe).

The Stern building was commissioned for use in May. The tenant, ING Services Polska, is now moving in to its new offices and the process will be finished by the end of this month. ISP is a shared service center headquartered in Katowice, providing IT services for ING Group subsidiaries on the whole world. The services include hosting, remote management and IT security as well as research and development . The decision about setting up the strategic data center in Katowice as part of ING Group in Europe was made in March 2003. Today, the company employs over 500 people in the City.

ING Services Polska signed a lease agreement for 5 600 sq. meters in Stern in September 2013. „We were searching for a location compatible with our plans as well as the typical needs of a modern, innovative organization. Our final choice was GPP Business Park on Konduktorska St., one of the most modern office buildings in Poland” – Magdalena Nowicka, CEO of  ING Services Polska, commented last year.

According to Mirosław Czarnik, CEO of GPP, the modern solutions applied in the buildings – including the trigeneration system – allow tenants to save from EUR 750 to 770 per one sq. meter yearly.

GPP Business Park will offer 30 000 sq. meters of modern, energy-efficient office space in four individual buildings. The office complex is located in the northern part of Katowice and within the Katowice Special Economic Zone. In stage three of the project, the Alder building will be delivered. The scheme is scheduled to be commissioned for use in Q4 2014.
