Grupa Żywiec S.A., a Polish beer producer, announces an opening of a Customer Service Center in Katowice. The investment worth between ten and twenty million Polish zloty will add several hundred new workplaces to the City’s job market.
The Center will service about 80 000 shops and retail units cooperating with Grupa Żywiec. Katowice was chosen from amongst 20 other Polish cities considering by the investor. The producer of such beer brands as Żywiec, Warka and Tatra decided to set up the Center in Katowice because of a high workforce availability, good infrastructure and localisation as well as competitive costs and local government commitment.
Every third bottle of beer purchased in Poland has been manufactured by Grupa Żywiec S.A. The most important brands of the group, sold all over Poland include: Żywiec, Heineken, Warka, Strong, Tatra and local brands: Królewskie – best known in Warsaw and its surroundings, Leżajsk – dominating in the south-eastern Poland, and Specjal – popular in the north of the country. The beers are brewed in five breweries: in Żywiec, Warka, Elbląg, Leżajsk and Cieszyn.
Experienced sales force reaches over 50 000 points of sale in 3 channels: retail, gastronomy and wholesale. At present, Grupa Żywiec employs over 6 000 people.
