ESL, the world’s largest e-sports company, and Intel announced on Tuesday that the final event of the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship’s tenth season will be held in Katowice’s „Spodek” once again.
This will be IEM’s third World Championship and a fourth event overall in Katowice. The 2015 tournament was the world’s most-watched e-sports event of all time on Twitch. The organizers stated that the final of the tenth season would be expanded even further to make it the largest event in ESL history.
This year, the final in Katowice was attended by 104 000 visitors and More than 73 million stream sessions were recorded across all broadcasts.
The final will take place in „Spodek” in March 2016.
