This month, scaffolds on the east side of the Scientific Information Center and Academic Library (SICAL) were removed and after about six months of works the building’s elevation of red Indian sandstone was finished. Meanwhile, construction crews are progressing with an interiors’ decor – suspended ceilings, stone floors, painting, glass walls, doors and its casings. The red slabs of sandstone will also be used in the interiors covering some partition walls of the building. Both the stone floors and the stone elements on the walls are put after the manner of the elevation’s arrangement.
The Scientific Information Center and Academic Library is planned for opening in October this year.
