Murapol announces new housing project

Murapol, a housing estates’ developer seated in Bielsko-Biała, is planning to build 220 new apartments in Katowice. The residential project is to be erected on Bażantów St.

Late June this year, Murapol has signed preliminary agreement with Forest Hill Sp. z o.o. concerning the sale of a part of investment area located on Bażantów St. The developer is buying 2,81 hectares of land located in the north-eastern part of the property from Forest Hill. The transaction value amounts to net PLN 8 million.

Murapol plans to erect five buildings in two stages. Four 4-storey buildings will be built within the first stage of the undertaking. Each of the facilities will house 55 apartments covering an area from 25 to 53 sq. meters. The fifth 8-storey building featuring an underground car park is scheduled to be raised in the second stage.

“The architecture of the buildings reminds our first Katowice investment, “Mała Skandynawia“. The designed apartments of the first stage will have from one to three rooms, balconies or small gardens on the ground floor. It is expected to start the construction work in the last quarter of 2012” – said Łukasz Tekieli, sales director at Murapol.

The company delivered the last stage of “Mała Skandynawia” this year at 190 Armii Krajowej St. were 144 apartments were built in total. The new investment on Bażantów St. will be located approximately 800 meters from “Mała Skandynawia”. Both housing projects were designed by the architect Lech Wojtas.
