A retail offer of the “Załęże” district will be improved by a new shopping center. The facility being currently developed on Bocheńskiego St. will cover 8 000 sq. meters of space for rent.

Present works on the underground level of the building called CH Załęże are supported by two towers cranes, which already operate at the construction site. This underground storey, destined for a car park, is the first of three planned within the project. The next two ground floors will feature retail spaces. “The two storeys will house about 250 retail units. Apart from the car park situated under the ground, additional parking places are to be located on the roof and near the shopping center. We will be able to offer 500 places for vehicles in total” – said Monika Obłój, representative of NRC Sp. z o.o., an investor of the undertaking.
In fact, the investment is an extension of the neighbouring market hall covering 2 500 sq. meters. The hall is mostly occupied by small, local retailers. According to the investor, the new building’s offer will also be addressed to new customers thanks to a wider choice. “Tenants structure of the extension will be much more diversified including chain retailers. A grocery store, drugstore, newspaper booth and service activities’ shops will be at customers disposal” – Obłój adds.
Retail units of CH Załęże will cover an area from 12 to 500 sq. meters. The spaces are almost 50% leased. The Argeo company from Katowice is responsible for commercialization and management of the center. The construction work is conducted by ZURB Ulik and will be finished in September this year.
