At the beginning of February two new companies moved to the Euro-Centrum Industrial Park. The Invest-Eco consulting company and Netizens Peppermint, the interactive agency, chose the energy-efficient office building.
Invest-Eko was established in 1999 and offers services related to fields of environmental protection, including water and sewage management, waste management, atmosphere protection, noise emission, infrastructure and construction. The company cooperates with Norwegian and Irish partners.
Netizens Peppermint is a part of the Indigity communication holding and operates in the field of e-marketing. It has two centers in Katowice and Warsaw, and one branch office in New York. The agency worked for such companies as Nescafe, Unilever Polska, RMFMAXXX, National Geographic and Katowice International Airport.
The building save up about 65% of energy. It covers 2 404 sq. meters and cost PLN 10,5 million. The BMS System controls an inside temperature and decides about heating or cooling. Apart from a heat pomp and special layers of insulation, the building is equipped with the BKT system – a cooling solution which makes a central heating and air-conditioning needless. The system works during the week, in weekends goes into dormancy.
