Katowice Business Point (KBP) had attracted two new tenants which leased almost 1 000 sq. meters of office space. “Polskie Towarzystwo Wspierania Przedsiębiorczości” will occupy approximately 700 sq. meters and a new office of “Polskie Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń” will cover about 270 sq. meters. King Sturge, international property consultants and a commercialization agent of KBP, mediated the lease agreements.
“Polskie Towarzystwo Wspierania Przedsiębiorczości” (PTWP) was established in 1995 in Katowice. The company is a publisher of „Nowy Przemysł”, „Rynek Spożywczy”, „Rynek Zdrowia” magazines, the wnp.pl portal and others. PTWP is also an organizer of the European Economic Congress in Katowice.
“Polskie Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń” (PTU), established in 1990, is among the oldest and largest insurers in Poland. PTU has a network consisting of 20 branches, 47 sub branches, 12 own agencies and 5 700 agents.
Katowice Business Point was developed by Ghelamco and delivered in Q2 2010. The building is located at 3 Ściegiennego Street. It offers 17 000 sq. m. of A-class office space on 11 levels and 200 parking places on 3 levels under the ground. Among tenants of KBP are PricewaterhouseCoopers, HSBC and “Polska Grupa Dealerów” (showroom of Infiniti).
