NextiraOne will build data center in Euro-Centrum

The Science and Technology Park of Euro-Centrum have chosen NextiraOne to design and build a data center. The contract value amounts to PLN 21,88 million.

The company was chosen in a public bidding procedure. The data center will be located in a new passive building being currently erected at 103 Ligocka St. in the area of Euro-Centrum.

The modern data center will be created on the ground level of the building. The center will provide storage and processing systems. Also it will be equipped with a software platform enabling effective information delivery within video or virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) as well as data security and recovery. Moreover, NextiraOne will deliver a close control air conditioning, power generators, uninterruptible power supply system and gas dump fire suppressant system to protect the IT facilities.

Apart from the data center, the passive building will be equipped with six climatic chambers, where several different environmental conditions can be simulated. The Park have already signed an agreement with the Tprofile company for the chambers delivery. The machines will be used for conducting testing of specimens, i.e. weather conditions impact on building materials.

The investment is part of the project named “development and application of new technologies in the area of energy saving and renewable energy sources in the Euro-Centrum Science and Technology Park”. The project is partially financed from EU funds and the state budget, its total worth amounts approximately to PLN 97 million.
