According to Gazeta Wyborcza, an old warehouse on Wandy St. in Szopienice district is going to become an office building. The design was prepared by emarchitekci architectural studio. The project will be developed as a seat of Hassa i Jagodziński building company and will deliver 513 sq. m of an usable area.
To save a space of the plot, the office part was created over the existing warehouse instead of erecting a new building. The construction will be raised on steel poles. An elevation is going to be covered by green, climbing plants and Cor-Ten, a sheet steel material weathered with time and which imitates a rust. An access to the office floor will be possible thanks to two outdoor staircases coated by a steel mesh. There is also predicted to create an inside garden under a glassy roof.
The company plans to raise the building in two years.
