At a time when all real estate markets have slowed down and the authorities of Katowice are trying to attract investors to the city, Ghelamco is building one of the few modern office buildings that can be found in the city at Chorzowska Street. Agencies, which have been chosen by the developer for commercialization of the project, are King Sturge and DTZ.
Katowice Business Point which is located near the Silesia City Center is the first investment of Belgian developer Ghelamco in the Silesia agglomeration. Construction started in November 2008. We are satisfied that everything is going as planned. Katowice Business Point is one of very few A class office buildings which are under construction in Katowice. The building will be distinguished by a modern, glazed façade with elements of natural stone and steel. This will allow easy daylight access to the building and positively influence the comfort of future tenants. Apart from offices, the building will include amenities for tenants such as a restaurant, kiosks, and a grocery shop which will be located on the ground floor. Underground will provide parking spaces for 200 cars. Companies, which choose Katowice Business Point, will have the best potential for easy space arrangement. Each of the 11 floors will have approx. 1615 sqm, and in total the building will offer 17 200 sqm of modern office space. First tenants are expected to move into the building at the beginning of 2010.
