Polish State Railways (PKP) have put up on sale the “DOKP” building and the 0,72 ha plot on which it is situated. The 18-storey facility is one of the best-located properties in regional cities in Poland.
“DOKP” covers 17 211 sq. meters of usable space and was raised in 1974. It is located in the very heart of Katowice at 1 Roździeńskiego Av. in the close proximity of “Spodek” – the Katowice most famous icon – and the cultural district being currently under construction. The total worth of investments in this area exceeds PLN 1 billion. Additionally, the immobility is situated along the agglomeration’s Inner Relief Road (DTŚ).
According to the City’s study of land use conditions and directions, the plot is destined for mixed-use purposes (office, hotel, retail, services). A high-rise development is also allowed at the subjected site.
The oral public auction will take place on 25th of September this year. The asking price is PLN 14,22 million. Tender deposits can be made by 20th of September. PKP is the owner of “DOKP”.
