PricewaterhouseCoopers was announced today as the first major tenant in Ghelamco’s Katowice Business Point. A regional office of PwC will take 2 200 sq. m in a 17 000 sq. m building that is going to obtain an occupancy permit in April according to the today’s statement. At present, finishing works are completing in the building’s interiors.
PwC will occupy a one and a half storey for six years as a lease contract says. Colliers International brokered both sides of this transaction.

Katowice is up to the mark. Last year the Upper Silesian capital was found as one of two Polish cities most friendly for investors according to Fitch Agency which estimated Katowice with “A-“ mark.
The new location of PwC is an expansion of a present Katowice’s office set up in 2006 and based in the Millenium Plaza office building. The extension of the PricewaterhouseCoopers regional office was also commented by mayor Piotr Uszok. “A fast-growing university center, a dynamic economy, a human potential distinguish Katowice to become an international center for BPO, SSC and R&D location. In effect, no wonder that Ghelamco and PricewaterhouseCoopers chose Katowice” – he is quoted in a Ghelamco press release.
