Thirteen stores have been re-commercialized in Silesia City Center (SCC) since the beginning of 2012. The re-commercialization covered almost 2 000 sq. meters of retail space.
The process is caused both by termination of lease contracts and growing interest in retail spaces of SCC. “We have been conducting the re-commercialization process since the last year’s extension. Some of tenants, e.g. Diverse and SMYK, have moved their stores to the extended part and enlarged the shops. Additionally, new brands have been appearing in SCC since January 2012. These are clothing brands as well as mobile phones operators, banks and cafes” – says Ilona Szafer, leasing director of Silesia City Center.
Among new tenants are Penny Black, Rage Age, Marc O’Polo, Pepe Jeans, LC Wakiki, Play, Betty Barclay, Hos&me, Lavard and Feel The Chill. Apart from that, the opening of the cafe of Starbucks is planned for summer this year.
