Rockwell Automation, a global provider of industrial automation, power, control and information solutions, is going to extend its multi-functional plant located at 49 Roździeńskiego St.
According to the wnp.pl portal, the U.S. company will develop the existing 7 700 sq. meters production facility by additional 4 300 sq. meters. Rockwell will also erect a 1 100 sq. meters building for office and welfare purposes.
The plant was opened in the City in May 2006 within the Katowice Special Economic Zone where more than 500 people are hired. It operates as a production plant, an R&D center specializing in software creation and a joint administrative unit with several different assignations.
