The Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice officially presented the scope of the 3rd European Congress of Small and Medium – Size Enterprises (ECSME) on Wednesday. A press conference took place in the Ministry of Economy in Warsaw.
The conference was attended by Janusz Piechociński – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy. “Poland becomes a place of discussion concerning the Europe’s future development. This is a unique experience when compared to other European countries” – the minister commented.
This biggest meeting of SME in Europe will be held from 16th to 18th of September in Katowice. “The 3rd European Congress of Small and Medium – Size Enterprises will be one of the most important economic events in Poland once again. During the three days, several panel sessions, workshops and business meetings will be held. We expect more than 3000 participants” – said Tadeusz Donocik, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice.
The President of Poland, Bronisław Komorowski, has taken Honorary Patronage over the congress. The major theme of this year’s edition is “Cooperation of companies of the SME sector in the regional, national and international dimension”.
