A great opening of the Scientific Information Center and Academic Library (SICAL) is planned for October 2011. By now, some outfitting was concluded inside the building, and last works are drawing to an end. The finished spaces are currently provided with furnitures and fit-outs. The SICAL is going to be a joint library of the University of Silesia and the University of Economics. Soon, library facilities of the two universities will be moved to the new building.
