Best Western, the world’s largest hotel chain established in 1946, will officially open its new investment in Katowice. It is the first hotel of the brand in the City and the fifth in Poland. The four star Best Western Premier Katowice is described as a modern business and conference facility. It is also marked as the Premier class thanks to higher standards of service and equipment.
In 2009, Best Western is celebrating a round number anniversary in Poland. It has been 10 years since this worldwide hotel chain representing privately owned hotels, was launched in Poland. Today Poland has six Best Western hotels and seventh is to be opened, no later than Q1 2010, to Katowice.
Best Western Premier Katowice Hotel is currently under renovation that includes among others new floor plan arrangements and increased size of the guest rooms.
Renovation works of the hotel at 1A Bytkowska St. are still progressing. Havre company which is financing the project, predicts the openning in the first quarter of 2010. This 4-star hotel, localized in the north part of Katowice near “Wojewódzki Park Kultury i Wypoczynku” – the second biggest city park in Europe – and the seat of Katowice’s International Exhibition & Fairs Centre, is going to offer 168 rooms including Executive chambers, apartment and rooms for disabled people.
