On Wednesday, the City Hall of Katowice officially delivered a new road network and additional infrastructure located in the so called cultural district. The total cost of the works amounts to PLN 104 million. It was the first phase of the undertaking.

The new seats of Silesian Museum, National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra and International Convention Center – all the three venues are being currently erected in the place of the former “Katowice” coal mine. The facilities, together with the refurbished “Spodek” hall and the new roads in the area, will create the cultural district – an exceptional undertaking in the scale of Poland.
