Neptun Development, a subsidiary of OKAM Capital bought a 2,06 ha plot located in the area of Three Ponds. A value of the transaction conducted in mid-March 2011 is estimated at PLN 11,4 million. Today, the developer released a press release and announces to develop a housing estate had planned by the previous plot’s owner, Grupa Bryksy.
The housing estate is designer by Konior Studio and features 252 apartments covering an area from 33 to 107 sq. meters. The offer includes studios, 2 or 3 bedrooms apartments and penthouses with terraces on top floors. A two-storeyed underground car park for 362 vehicles will be delivered for inhabitants use. Also, the developer want to build tennis courts, fitness club, play grounds, and a recreation ground for children within the plot’s area. According to the company, more than half of the plot will be covered by greenery.
Neptun assumed necessary administrative permission from the previous owner. A start of construction work and the apartments’ sale is planned to be launched in July this year. An estimated cost of one square meter is PLN 6 000.
It will be the first investment of OKAM Capital in the Upper Silesian region. The company is also an owner of two tenements in the City Center of Katowice – at 10 Staromiejska St. and 13 Młyńska/3 Wawelska Streets. OKAM has been operating on the Polish housing market since 2003. The company is involved in residential projects in Warsaw, Łódź and Szczecin. In March 2010, OKAM Group obtained a strategic partner – a company of Aurec Capital Group (private capital fund). As a result of joint venture the OKAM Capital has been established.
