Ten months left to finish construction works on new Silesia City Center (SCC). To be on time with the schedule, works are progressing simultaneously in several sections of the construction site. An excavation site covers 87 000 cubic meters.
At present, construction crews demolish a west-south part of existing SCC where a two-storey shopping gallery and an underground car park’s entry will be developed. Moreover, Erbud SA – the prime contractor of the investment – is working on a cavity wall, foundations, the underground car park and first ceilings. 133 spot footings and 97 pillars of the -1 level were built by now. Two tower cranes already operate at the construction site. The number will be doubled soon.
