At a time when all real estate markets have slowed down and the authorities of Katowice are trying to attract investors to the city, Ghelamco is building one of the few modern office buildings that can be found in the city at Chorzowska Street. Agencies, which have been chosen by the developer for commercialization of the project, are King Sturge and DTZ.
Instead of opening of Angelo Hotel in March 2010, construction works seem to be manage very quickly. It must to remember that Angelo requires also an inside finish – as a four star hotel and conference center it needs a special attention and bright finish. At present, sixth storey is developing. There will be one more left.
Last days, the building A of Francuska Office Center has risen the last, seventh storey. Currently, builders are on the go with finishing the roof. Building B developing is at the level of third storey on the west and the fourth storey on the east side – it is almost at the half-way mark. Some of today’s pictures below.
King Sturge, a property consultants agency extended a contract with PZU for a rent of 2 500 sq. m in the Millenium Plaza office building. The contract was extended for the next four years. Decisive factor was a localization of the building which is well known among costumers of PZU. Moreover, the area of 330 sq. m will be occupied by Karbonia Polska (142 sq. m) and Det Norske Veritas (182 sq. m).
Hotel System, the Polish hotel chain, has opened in Katowice a hotel complex with 204 rooms and 8 exclusive apartments. The main characteristic for the development is a very well equiped conference center consist of 7 conference rooms between 30 and 140 sq. m with a wide spectrum of arrangement. Hotel residents a lounge bar and the two-level “Rosso Nero Ristorante” restaurant which offers a Polish and Italian cuisine.
