The Millenium Inwestycje Sp. z o.o. company is planning following investment in the “Bażantów” housing estate. A modern sport complex will be developed until 2012. The company is currently finishing an engineering design which is necessary to file a motion for a building permit. The complex will include: swimming pool, gym, fitness club, sweat rooms, tennis and squash courts. An open-air sports ground is planned as well as a part of the complex.
Last year katowicethecity.com notified about the planned changes in design of Silesia Business Park and a consequential postponement of the construction works. Today, a final architecture of the Skanska’s office complex is ready and can be seen below. The redesign as well as the previous project were prepared by Medusa Group.

The Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice invites companies to tender for the preparation of an engineering design of a new scientific complex with a cultural purposes. The documentation has to include an architectural design of the building and area. Localized between Raciborska and Koszarowa Streets, the future complex should be composed of 5 000 sq. m of usable area with an underground car park and about a 10 000 sq. m park with a small architecture.

Tomorrow will take place an agreement signature with six universities which will be granted within the framework of the European Union’s Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment (OPI&E) and state budget. Estimated for almost PLN 253 million, contracts will be signed in the seat of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. PLN 33 439 285 will go to the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice for refurbishment of an old University’s laundry to the Didactics and Medical Simulation Center
