EIB supports development of the cultural district

The European Investment Bank (EIB) is lending PLN 254,2 million (approx. EUR 65 million) to develop the cultural district of Katowice. The EIB funds will finance the construction of the International Convention Center (ICC), the new seat of the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra (NPRSO) and the connecting infrastructure in the cultural district, i.e. streets, utilities, sewerage, etc.

GPP is to implement Tri-Generation system

Construction work on the first building of the GPP Office Park was commenced late 2010 in the area of the Upper Silesian Industrial Park (GPP). Recently, the building’s structure was topped out. Meanwhile, the project was granted by the European Union. The funds will allow for implementation of the Tri-Generation system in the building.

New organs for Silesian Philharmonic

Soon, music lovers will have a great opportunity to enjoy new organs of the Silesian Philharmonic. The organs will be provided by renowned Karl Schuke Berliner Orgelbauwerkstaat from Germany. The company also built organs for the Berlin Philharmonic, Warsaw Philharmonic and Academy of Music in Kraków.

Thirteen new tenants in Silesia City Center

Thirteen new brands joined a list of tenants of the expanding Silesia City Center (SCC). Lease contracts were signed with Lacoste, La Promessa, Harpers Shoes, Rolex, Clarks, Guess Footwear, Stradivarius, Massimo Dutti, Claire’s, Lindex, Furla, Home&You and TUI. All the new shops will be available in autumn, when the new part of the shopping complex is going to be opened.
