Bluevine Consulting, in cooperation with the City Hall of Katowice, is organizing a conference “Silesia against the crisis – A trusted location for investment in times of economic uncertainty” as part of the “Prospect in Poland” cycle. It will be the second event of the cycle organized in Katowice this year.
The seminar will take place in the Goldstein Palace at 12A Wolności Sq. on 8th of December 2011.
In a club deal, Helaba and pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank are providing a EUR 210 million refinancing and development facility to Immofinanz Group for the prime shopping mall Silesia City Center (SCC). Both banks acted as joint mandated lead arrangers, and Helaba as agent, on this transaction.
Helaba, pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank and Immofinanz Group see this as a landmark transaction in the current CEE real estate financing market.
Katowice City budget planned for 2012 seems to be a record-breaking and will exceed PLN 2 billion for the first time in history (PLN 1,8m in 2011). Additionally, the budgetary project assumes that an amount of next year’s capital expenditures will rise by 138-percent as compared with 2011 to reach 844,5 million.
The year-on-year 138-percent dynamic of capital expenditures of Katowice will be the highest among twelve biggest Polish cities according to Puls Biznesu.
„Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Komunikacyjnych w Krakowie S.A.” (PRK), a prime contractor of the redevelopment of platforms and a surrounding infrastructure of the Katowice Railway Station, signed a contract with Budus S.A. – the company will conduct part of the works as a subcontractor.
Budus will be involved in, among others, a construction of the Station roof over all four platforms and intertrack spaces
From amongst two companies which had submitted proposals for construction of two underground car parks in the City Center of Katowice in July this year – it was Leosepte based in Warsaw and a consortium coordinated by Mota-Engil Central Europe owned by the Portuguese Mota-Engil group – only the Mota-Engil company decided to conduct further negotiations with the City Hall.
