An international consortium of investors led by Allianz has acquired the Silesia City Center shopping mall for EUR 412 million. Allianz have acquired the property in a consortium with other investors including ECE Projektmanagement. ECE will also manage Silesia City Center. The mall was sold by Nowe Centrum Sp. z o.o., a subsidiary of Immofinanz Group.

A new store of Decathlon is being erected on Trasa Renców St. along “Drogowa Trasa Średnicowa”. The sport shop will border upon the Auchan shopping mall.
The store will be situated on the east side in the place of the former, two-storey car park. Demolition works have been already concluded. The underground part of the parking for 350 vehicles will be rebuilt – the store is designed above to cover 3 200 sq. meters of selling area. Decathlon will be directly linked with the Auchan building.
