On 26th of November 2013, the City of Katowice received a grant from the European Commission for the development of International Convention Center (ICC). The verification process took over 3 years.

Silesia Business Park (SBP) in Katowice is located in the center of the agglomeration, on Chorzowska street – the City’s main arterial road. SBP offers easy access to public transport, a shopping center and all necessary amenities.
More than ten new stores have been opened in Galeria Katowicka since the mall opening over two months ago. The shopping center is now 93% leased.
Amongst the new tenants are Terranova (clothing store covering 956 sq. meters over two floors), Springfield (women and men clothing brand), Ski Team (ski and snowboard equipment, 382 sq. meters), Sizeer (shoe shop), Świat Książki (book store), Jelly Shop (silicon accessories)
By the end of 2015, the office building at 41A Powstańców St. will be fully refurbished. The facility is owned by the Silesian Voivodeship Office, which will provide financing for the renovation.
The building is a seat of local government administration’s offices. It was raised in the 70s of last century and now needs immediate renewal of elevation and fittings due to safety regulations. Also, the facility differs from neighbouring buildings
