The University of Economics in Katowice is preparing for the opening of the Advanced Information Technology Center. The official inauguration of the PLN 50,2 million building will take place in January 2014.
The center has been erected by Mostostal Warszawa. The company needed 25 months to raise the educational facility. „The AITC will be officially opened on 9th of January 2014 during the celebration of the university’s feast” – said Marcin Baron, press spokesman of the University of Economics of Katowice.
The Advanced Information Technology Center is located at 5 Bogucicka St. It will be a seat of the Informatics and Communication Faculty. Teaching programme of the AITC will be focused on spatial economics, finance and accounting, management and economy including the implementation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The facility will also offer economic and managerial services for business.
