Two new regular services were recently added to the destination list of the Katowice International Airport (KTW). Air Cairo has opened direct weekly flights to two Egyptian cities starting from this month.
The new services include connections to Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh. The carrier will operate the new services once a week. The first flight to Hurghada will take place on Friday, 16th of January. The connection to Sharm El Sheikh will be inaugurated on Tuesday, 20th of January.
Tickets are on sale for flights until the end of the winter season (by the end of March 2015). However, the carrier declared that the two new routes will be handled in the summer season 2015 as well.
Air Cairo was founded in 2003 as a charter operator. The stakeholders of the carrier are Egypt Air, National bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr (BM).
