Another large construction plot will be put up for sale within court proceedings. The court enforcement officer to the District Court „Katowice-Zachód” announced to auction parcels of land of ZFI Havre.
The property is located in the downtown of Katowice in the area of Mickiewicza, Dąbrówki, Zabrska and Sobieskiego streets, and almost opposite the towers of Stalexport. The unoccupied plots serve today as a car park. The land covers the total area of 14 701 sq. meters.
The property is owned by four businessmen from Ireland. In the last decade their company Eurocape P.I.A. was also involved in the revitalization project of „Katowickie Centrum Biznesu” at 6 Chorzowska St. and wanted to build a residential tower west from KCB, however they have never commenced the scheme (KCB was purchased by Maciej Jaglarz in 2010, who rebuilt it and turned into a modern office building two years later).
ZFI Havre planned to erect a mixed-use complex on the subjected plots on Mickiewicza St. As it was in the case of KCB and the residential tower, the construction work has not been kicked-off. Now the court enforcement officer is going to auction the property on 10th of March 2016. The estimated value of the plots amounts to over PLN 7,03 million. The initial price totals three-quarter of the estimated value and is PLN 5,27 million.
