Atal has revealed the number of apartments which had been sold by the developer in Katowice last year. The company also confirmed to continue its expansion on the city housing market.
Only one housing project Francuska Park is now being executed by the developer in the city at present. The scheme is located at 102 Francuska St. According to the statement, Atal sold 138 apartments in Katowice in 2015 (1 690 apartments in Poland in total).
In May 2015, Atal delivered the first stage of Francuska Park. 235 apartments were built in three buildings, of which 161 were already sold. The second stage – 269 apartments in three buildings – are scheduled to be commissioned for use in the first quarter of this year. The developer sold 25 apartments of the second stage by now. Additionally, works on three buildings to be delivered within the third stage of the undertaking are already underway. Sale of this stage has not been started yet. The three stages of the projects involves the construction of nine buildings and 674 apartments.
The company also revealed to start a new housing development. Atal did not disclose any further details about the undertaking, however the developer had already confirmed in March last year the plans concerning the fourth stage of Francuska Park. The investment plots (9 700 sq. meters) are located along Lotnisko St. in place of former garage facilities and border upon the construction site of Francuska Park from the east side. A valid building permit has been approved for the stage last year. Works on the fourth stage’s first facility were started.
Atal is headquartered in Cieszyn. The developer sold almost 6 800 apartments across Poland. The housing units cover the total area of 400 000 sq. meters. In Katowice, the company delivered two housing schemes in the previous years: Ligota Park (414 apartments) and three buildings (64 apartments) on Kolista St. in the district of Giszowiec. The company also owns an office and warehouse complex situated at 8-10 Porcelanowa St. Two buildings offer 3 100 sq. meters of office space and 2 700 sq. meters of warehouse area.
