IT giant Cagemini, based in France, wants to hire up to 700 people in Poland this year. About 100 employees will be based in Katowice and Opole offices, the Polish Press Agency reported.
Capgemini focuses on providing technology and outsourcing services. Currently, the company hires over 1 500 people in two office locations in the City. They work in the area of financial and accounting, supply management, IT infrastructure management and customer technical support.
The new employees to be hired this year in Katowice will be mostly involved in financial and accounting processes, analysis and reports preparation as well as verification and reconciliation of financial accounts. The knowledge of foreign languages, particularly German, is essential.
Also, the company is looking for foreign technical support consultants for both office locations in Katowice and Opole. The new stuff will be responsible for analyzing and resolving inquiries regarding technical issues related to: hardware, software and network. In the upcoming months, Capgemini will also look for Java, .NET, PHP, SharePoint developers and consultants.
Recently, Capgemini announced to move to its new seat in Katowice by the end of this year. The new offices covering 5 600 sq. meters will be located in the building B of Silesia Business Park on Chorzowska St. The firm will move to the location from its present premises in the Altus building. Also, Capgemini is present in the Atrium building where the company renewed a lease agreement for 5 300 sq. meters of office space last year and expanded by additional 1 500 sq. meters.
