US-Polish Trade Council (USTC) from Californian Silicon Valley and Katowice “Euro Center” Group signed a contract for a future cooperation. The contract is going to create a chance for a close, bilateral cooperation between scientists and businessmen of Upper Silesia and Silicon Valley. The common policy will support information and experiences flow, provide infrastructure and qualified personnel. This agreement makes a great opportunity for mutual trainings, conferences and know-how exchange.
First of the Silicon Valley’s company in Katowice is Display Link which is going to continue its policy of bringing own experience in science and to expand company’s unit in Poland.
The “Euro Center” Industrial Park, which Display Link has chosen for a seat, is under upbuilding while the first stage of the complex is already finished. The area space totals up for 15 000 sq. m. Main role of the Group is to develop new technologies and help them to grow up in a well-balanced business environment.
