First Silesian Best Western, Best Western Premier Katowice Hotel, is currently preparing for opening its doors for guests which will take place in mid-spring this year. The hotel will offer 168 rooms including 120 for non-smokers and 2 rooms for the phisically challenged. Also there will be a meeting facility – four fully equipped air-conditioned multifunctional rooms covering 200 sq. m which together with a spacious foyer are ideal for coffee breaks, art openings and exhibitions.

In January, the 4-star angelo Hotel informed about its opening which will take place in the beginning of March. However, the future weeks are going to bring an opening of following 4-star hotel which is the Best Western Premier Hotel at 1A Bytkowska St. It will be the 16th and 17th hotel facility in Katowice. Moreover, Diament Sp. z o.o. hotel chain has promised new 87 rooms in its extended part of the Park Hotel Diament building.

Number seven from Best Western

In 2009, Best Western is celebrating a round number anniversary in Poland. It has been 10 years since this worldwide hotel chain representing privately owned hotels, was launched in Poland. Today Poland has six Best Western hotels and seventh is to be opened, no later than Q1 2010, to Katowice.

Best Western Premier Katowice Hotel is currently under renovation that includes among others new floor plan arrangements and increased size of the guest rooms.

Best Western Katowice pushes forward

Renovation works of the hotel at 1A Bytkowska St. are still progressing. Havre company which is financing the project, predicts the openning in the first quarter of 2010. This 4-star hotel, localized in the north part of Katowice near “Wojewódzki Park Kultury i Wypoczynku” – the second biggest city park in Europe – and the seat of Katowice’s International Exhibition & Fairs Centre, is going to offer 168 rooms including Executive chambers, apartment and rooms for disabled people.

This four-star hotel building development will be made up in two stages. The first one, which is already in progress, provides a redevelopment of “University” Hostel (190 rooms).
