Echo Investment launches A4 Business Park

Echo Investment announces to start the development of A4 Business Park, a modern A-class office complex located on Francuska St. near the A4 motorway. The developer has already chosen a prime contractor. Works are to be commenced next week.

A4 Business Park consists of three buildings with an underground car park. The first phase of the project includes the redevelopment of the surrounding road system and the construction of one building. It will offer 9 000 sq. meters of office space over 7 storeys and a car park for 153 vehicles. The total office space in the complex will amount to 31 000 sq. meters in three buildings.

The complex will offer a canteen, fitness club, leisure spaces and retail units for tenants disposal. Cyclists will have a garage with bike racks as well as a changing room.

A raw state of the first stage of the complex will be raised by Remax Construct. Last preparatory works are currently underway before the start of construction works. The kick-off is planned in the last week of November. The building will be finished in Q1 2014.

The new office project of Echo Investment is to be built in the southern central part of the City in the junction of Francuska and Damrota Streets. The facility is surrounded by a well developed network of roads including the A4 motorway with an easy access to Katowice downtown.

The architectural design of A4 Business Park was created in the DDJM architectural studio. The facades of the buildings create a set of visually ordered stripes consisting of stone and glazed elements. The office space has been designed as an open plan, which combined with good access to natural light will provide the users with the flexibility of interior design and comfortable working conditions. In accordance with the current top standards, the offices will be equipped with raised floors, suspended ceilings as well as user-friendly lighting, air-conditioning and ecological lifts.

During the design process the architects focused on the users’ needs and the requirements related to operating the buildings, as well as the new era requirements with regard to public utility buildings, which take into account the sustainable development principles and enable buildings to fulfill ecological certification conditions. Echo Investment currently applies for the BREEAM certificate for A4 Business Park. The expected mark is “Very good”.
