This year Echo Investment is going to start six office developments including the third stage of A4 Business Park.
The office complex in Katowice is being built on Francuska St. It is a modern business park which consists of three office buildings and a separate 9-storey car park. The first stage of the project is a 7-storey office building with an area of approximately 9 000 sq. meters which will be opened in the days to come as the new office of IBM’s Global Service Delivery Center.
As can be read in the company’s quarterly report, the contract with IBM is an important step for Echo Investment which confirms the company’s right approach to the development in regional cities, as well as the correctness of its analyses regarding individual locations, those concerning the BPO business in particular. It had also encouraged the developer to start the second stage (9 300 sq. meters) of A4 Business Park which was launched in the last quarter of 2013. The completion of the building is planned for the turn of third and fourth quarter of 2014.
According to the report, the third stage of the project would be started in the first half of 2014 comprising 12 400 sq. meters of office space designed in a 10-storey facility. The building is expected to be delivered in the second half of 2015.
Additionally, Echo Investment also plans to erect a shopping center in Katowice on Kościuszki St. The mall will comprise a gross leasable area of 30 500 sq. meters. Over one year ago, the company planned that 48 000 sq. meters of the GLA would be offered in the building. The development is currently expected to be launched in 2015.
