Echo owns more land in Katowice

Echo Investment has purchased over 2 hectares of land in the center of Katowice. The developer plans to erect there its second office project in the city.

The property was sold by subsidiary of Vox, which had owned the parcels since 2002. The amount of the transaction has not been revealed. The land consists of two unoccupied plots covering the total area of 23 800 sq. meters. It is bordered by Żelazna, Chorzowska and Grundmanna streets.

According to a spatial development plan, commercial developments including office buildings up to 34 meters (8 storeys) can be raised at the plots. The document also allows to build one 15 storeys facility (up to 60 meters) from the side of Chorzowska St. A very initial plan of the developer says that an office project offering 38 000 sq. meters of leasable space will be erected on the plot.

The land is located close to Galeria Libero, which is being built by Echo Investment at the junction of Kolejowa and Kościuszki streets. Additionally, the developer has recently concluded works on A4 Business Park – its first office project in the city.
