BREEAM is the world’s foremost environmental assessment method and rating system for buildings and sets the standard for best practice in sustainable building design, construction and operation. “The project of A4 Business Park is being currently under a certificated BREEAM assessment. A BREEAM report were already submitted in the assessor company and we expect to achieve the certificate in the second half of November this year. The submitted report enables us to receive a ‘Very Good’ mark” – said Paweł Słupski, PR Specialist at Echo Investment S.A.

Thanks to the environmental friendly solutions applied in the buildings, A4 Business Park was nominated for CEE Green Building Awards. The winners are to be announced on 29th of November in Warsaw. The event is dedicated to sustainable development in the region featuring past, present and future projects in the pipeline, which have been recognized as confirmed sustainable developments.

The office complex will be the first development investment of Echo in Katowice. Works on the road system around the plot were commenced this summer. The company expects to choose a prime contractor of the first building in the weeks to come and to start the construction work afterwards.

Within the first stage, a 7-storey office facility will be erected delivering 9 000 sq. meters of office space. The whole complex will offer approximately 31 000 sq. meters of leasable space in three buildings. The elevation will be made of large windows and light, natural stone. The architectural design of the complex was prepared by DDJM from Kraków.
