Eight new brands in Libero

A leasing department of Echo Investment has recently secured eight new contracts with tenants of Libero. The brands will occupy almost 4 000 sq. meters in total.

Piotr i Paweł, a Polish supermarket chain has leased an area of over 1 400 sq. meters. The chain currently includes 145 supermarkets all over Poland. The chain had a turnover of 2,233 billion in 2016 and it serviced over 5 million customers per month. Piotr i Paweł is a significant Polish employer which provides jobs to over 5 000 people in its headquarters, shops and logistic warehouses. The chain has been operating an online shop, which services consumers from Poland nowadays.

In 2017 the Polish chain is planning its further organic growth, which will make it possible to exceed 150 supermarkets and continue working on its technological development (including the „Scan and Buy” project), the modernization of the oldest shops and optimisation of its current locations.

The second new tenant is Pandora, a popular global brand offering high quality handmade jewellery. Pandora, which is listed on the stock exchange in Copenhagen, is to open its new shop over an area of more than 50 sq. meters and it will be an alternative for other jewellery brands which joined Libero earlier. Pandora will present customers with its full offer including: rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and popular charms.

Pandora offers original jewellery which combines handicraft with modern technology and is sold in over 100 countries, on six continents, in appoximately 7 700 sales outlets, including over 2 200 brand shops.

The shop of the Puma brand will occupy 130 sq. meters in Libero. Apart from sports clothing and accessories, including those addressed especially to runners, footballers, golf players and motor sport fans, the new shop will also offer a broad range of casual clothing for enthusiasts of a comfortable, urban style.

Puma is one of the leading sports brand. For over 65 years it has earned its reputation as a producer of sports footwear for the fastest athletes in the world. The company with its headquarters in Germany distributes its products in over 120 countries and it employs more than 10 000 people all over the world.

Flying Tiger Copenhagen – an international chain of shops from Denmark offering products related to having fun, creativity and activity will join Libero, where the company is to occupy an area of over 200 sq. meters.

Shops of the Danish chain are full of colourful products, including products for a party, elements of home decorations, toys for children, gadgets and presents. Some of these products are acknowledged and awarded designs, the Flying Tiger Copenhagen emphasizes that they were all produced in accordance with ethics, environmental and social protection.

The group currently operates over 800 shops in 30 countries in Europe, Asia and the USA. The chain offers appoximately 300 new products every month. The company with its seat in Copenhagen, Denmark, which was founded in 1995, employs more than 4 500 people all over the world and it generates the revenue of DKK 4,274 billion.

The leader of the Polish market of household appliances and audio & video equipment is to open a shop with an area of nearly 1 100 sq. meters in Libero. RTV Euro AGD is the first Polish sales company operating on the market of household appliances and audio & video equipment. The retail chain offers TV sets, audio & video equipment, large and small household appliances, computers, tablets, phones, photographic equipment, games, consoles and accessories.

The group of tenants of Libero has also been joined by an international chain – Pizza Hut, which is to open an innovative dine-in restaurant with an open kitchen and waiter service in the south of Katowice.

Pizza Hut will occupy an area of 350 sq. meters in the shopping and entertainment center. It will be a dine-in restaurant offering full waiter service and a completely new interior design. The innovative format of the restaurant which is to be opened in Libero is characterized by four elements: a stone oven for thin crust pizzas, a new menu with an extensive offer of appetizers and the salad bar, an innovative system of order placement which speeds up the meal delivery process as well as a new interior design which includes furniture, the layout of the salad bar and the open kitchen.

Pizza Hut is one of the largest casual dining restaurant chains in the world.  The owner of Pizza Hut restaurants in Poland is AmRest Holding with its seat in Wrocław.

One of the newest tenants is Deichmann, one of the largest and oldest footwear chains in the world. It is the leading brand on the German as well as European footwear markets. It offers a broad section of footwear for all age groups. The broad range of products of the brand includes elegant and classic footwear as well as city and sports shoes. Deichmann shops offer a broad range of various brands such as Elefanten, Gallus, Medicus, 5th Avenue, Graceland, Victory, Adidas, Puma, Nike and Fila. In Libero Deichmann will occupy a spacious unit with an area of 500 sq. meters.

The Deichmann chain comprises nearly 250 shops in Poland. The 20-year history of the brand in Poland is marked by a dynamic development of the chain as well as transformations inside the company, which has been bravely facing its footwear competition since the beginning of its operations. The company was founded in 1913. It sells approximately 180 million pairs of shoes in 4 000 shops every year. Deichmann employs nearly 40 000 people.

The last new brand is Orsay, an international clothing chain which is present in 26 countries. It offers well cut clothes and accessories for women, which are in line with the latest trends and match each style and personality. The shop of the brand in Libero will occupy 200 sq. meters.

Orsay is a German company producing clothes for women. It started its operations in 1975 from 25 shops. It currently has more than 680 of them in 26 countries and it employs 4 000 people all over the world. Its first shop in Poland was opened in 1997. A few years later the company opened its branch responsible for CEE countries in Wrocław.

Advanced commercialization process is conducted regardless of the progressing construction work. 80 percent of Libero’s retail area has been leased. The building is being erected at the junction of Kościuszki and Kolejowa streets, which are used by over 15 000 vehicles per hour at peak times. Libero is planned to be opened in spring 2018.
