Ericsson moves to GPP Business Park

The Upper Silesian Industrial Park (GPP) has signed lease agreements with three new tenants. The companies will move to the Goeppert-Mayer building of GPP Business Park. The major lease contract was concluded with Ericsson.

Since the beginning of 2009, Ericsson has been operating a Global Service Delivery Center in Katowice which delivers services in the areas of systems integration, network and technology consulting, and managed services. In GPP Business Park, the company has leased 1 351 sq. meters of office space.

Ericsson is the world’s leading provider of technology and services to telecom operators. The company was founded in 1876 and is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. It operates in 180 countries and employs more than 100 000 people.

GPP has also signed lease agreements with Logic Polska and a law firm. The building is now approximately 40 percent leased. Goeppert-Mayer is the Poland’s first energy-efficient building using the tri-generation system. It saves up to 40-50 percent of energy that is used in a typical A-class office building, while maintaining full comfort for people working inside. The office facility was officially opened on 30th of August 2012.
